has been with VoiceGenie Technologies since 1999,
and has worked in advanced computing and telecommunications
since 1985. At VoiceGenie, Rob is responsible
for the VoiceGenie Developer Workshop (http://developer.voicegenie.com),
and new products and services development. Rob
is a member of the VoiceXML Education Committee,
and of USENIX and SAGE, and a regular contributor
to SANS. VoiceGenie is a Promoter Member of the
VoiceXML Forum.

Dr. Scott McGlashan

Scott
McGlashan is Chief Technology Officer and co-founder
of PipeBeach. He is also chair of the VoiceXML
subgroup of the W3C Voice Browser Working Group.
Scott holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Cognitive Science
from the University of Edinburgh. Scott has an
extensive international experience of applied
speech technology research from projects in the
UK, Germany and Sweden between 1989 and 1997.
In 1997, Scott became a Research Project Manager
at Ericsson. He has published his research in
a large number of international articles and his
EU project reviewer on speech processing.
